TRIBUTE TO MRS FELICIA ADENIYI I met Mrs Adeniyi a little over 50 years ago, as the wife of a colleague Prof Adeniyi, in the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER) Ibadan. Simple and unassuming, l noticed that she was very dedicated to her husband and raising of good children. Later, for about 40 years, we became neighbours and members of Arigidi Residents Association. Her husband was one of the promoters of the Association and actually recommended that we should make our meetings an avenue for real socialisation. Mrs Adeniyi was receptive to this idea and made sure she entertained members well whenever she hosted our meetings. She was one of the regular faces at the meetings. She was tolerant and accommodating. One of our Mama's lived within her premises and anytime my husband and myself visited that Mama, she was always full of praises for Mrs Adeniyi. She said she treated her like her own mother. Mrs Adeniyi knew the Lord. We attended the same fellowship and her passion for the work of God was quite palpable. Although we would have wished that she lived much longer, we thank God for the beautiful life she lived. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, console all the loved ones left behind in the name of Jesus, Amen Prof Mrs A. M. Osoba
