Tribute to late Mrs Felicia Adeniyi: I recall with nostalgic memories my relationship with her over several decades that I have known her as the dutiful wife of my uncle Professor Oloruntobi Adeniyi who himself passed on to glory in the year 2010. Vividly remembered are her accomodating spirit, gentle and kind soul and a very generous miem. Given the solid relationship between my late mother, Mrs Julianah Mojisola Fadayomi and Professor Adeniyi, ‘Anti’ Felie was very compliant and treated us all with respect . I was in and out of their residences while on holidays at Ibadan , Alade-Idanre,Odode- Idanre along Jigbokin road which was reputed to be the best house at Idanre in the 60s. The Adeniyi’s were tenants in the house which also had the family of Professor Adex Adegbeyeni living in one of the flats as they were teachers at Olofin grammar school then . I also fondly recall the participation and support given by the Adeniyis at the Engagement ceremony of my son, Dr Olumide Fadayomi at Nnewi, AnambraState in 2007. Mrs Felicia Adeniyi came all the way from Ibadan by road with her husband for the ceremony. Similarly ,even after Professor had departed to glory in 2010, Mrs Felicia Adeniyi along with Bunmi( Mrs Bunmi Apampa) still joined us to celebrate the wedding of Femi Fadayomi in far away Houston Texas , USA in 2013 The bond between the Adeniyis and Fadayomis is remarkable as Mrs Adeniyi fundamentally boosted the relationship by her accomodating character. December 2,2021 was the last day I saw her in this Divide on her sick bed at UCH, Ibadan. She was looking serene and calm on the bed but sadly succumbed to her illness shortly after to be with the Lord. Very sorely missed but for ever unforgettable . We shall miss her gentle soul and caring heart We thank u for ur support and leaving behind a very stable family. An angel has gone to be with the Lord Adieu Smart Ladi Fadayomi
